Meccanico
04:24
|
|||
In the mysterious space between earth and sky the restricted mechanical world beats the time and reassures the human being, blind to itself and to its proper potential. It’s unheard song is strident and harsh but from the depth of it’s proper inconcience arises a solitary melody which imperceptibly shakes the mechanical world putting in motion a slow but inexorable transformation.

Presentiment
02:54
|
|||
The voice manifests itself for the first time, clear and limpid, The eyes open up toward a new conciousness.
Presentiment – is that long shadow – on the loan –
Indicative that suns go down –
The notice to the startlet grass
That darkness – is about to pass
(Emily Dickinson)
“Presentimento - è quell’ombra lunga - sul prato
Segno che i soli tramontano –
Avvertimento all’erba spaventata
Che l’oscurità sopraggiunge”

Risveglio

Ich glaube an Alles noch nie Gesagte.
Ich will meine frömmsten Gefühle befrein.
Was noch keiner zu wollen wagte,
wird mir einmal unwillkürlich sein.
(R. Maria Rilke)
“I believe in everything that was never told,
I will free my most devote feelings
That what nobody dared to desire till now
May happen to me spontaneously” ( R. Maria Rilke)

Racine

|

(Jean Racine)
“Cosa serve al mio spirito
Attraversare gli abissi
Dei misteri più sublimi
E leggere nel futuro?
Senza amore la mia conoscenza è inutile
Come il sogno di cui rimane appena
Un leggero ricordo.
L’anima prigioniera
Trova pace sotto al tuo giogo
E si abbevera di acqua viva
Che non si esaurisce mai.
Ma noi corriamo follemente
Cerchiamo delle sorgenti fangose
O delle cisterne illusorie
Che perdono acqua in ogni momento”
Of what use will it be to my spirit
to cross the abysses
of the most sublime mysteries
and read the future ?
Without love my conciousness is useless
like the dreams of which
only a slight memory remains.
The imprisoned soul
finds peace under your yoke
and quences her thirst of living water
that will never dry up.
But we are running around madly,
we look for muddy springs
or illusory cisterns
which are loosing water all the time

Il Dubbio
04:28
|
|||
(Sax solo)
Doubt is coming up, moving without rest
in space, like a mouse in a trap.
The space of the mind is confined
It’ s limits are dissolved only when
it will integrate the
various functions of the
human system, concious of being
only a small part of the “ whole”

Revolution is the Pod
Systems rattle from
When the Winds of Will are stirred
So of Liberty
Left inactive on the solk
Revolution shakes it for
Test if it be dead
(Emily Dickinson) fragments
“La Rivoluzione è un baccello
Da cui i sistemi rotolano
Quando i venti della volontà si levano.
Così la libertà
Lasciata inattiva sullo stelo
La rivoluzione la scuote per
Verificare se è morta”

Rumi
07:33
|

From the East comes the spur towards the last phase of the initiatory path, in the turmoil of events, between the fears that arise, the bewilderment, the melody is moving, breaking, widening to resurrect totally renovated.
you belonged to the Earth before you started your journey,
Now that you have come to be a man,
Celebrate this final event.
The world is a sea
Where the body is looking for it’s shell
The soul is the pearl, the most precious gem (Rumi)

Solitude
08:02
|
|||
La quiete dopo la tempesta…
The quiet after the storm
There is a solitude of space
A solitude of sea
A solitude of death, but these
Society shall be
Compared with that profounder site
That polar privacy
A soul admitted to itself –
Finite infinity
(Emily Dickinson)
“Vi è una solitudine dello spazio,
una solitudine del mare,
una solitudine della morte, ma queste
saranno una folla
a confronto di quel luogo più profondo
quella polare segretezza,
un’anima ammessa alla propria presenza –
finita infinità”

Rivelazione
05:21
|
|||
I heard, as if I had no Ear
Until a vital Word
Came all the way from Life to me
And then I knew I heard.
I saw, as if my Eye where on
Another, till a Thing
And now I knok’twas Light, because
It fitted them, came in.
I dwelt, as if Myself where out,
My body but within
Untill a Might detected me
And set my kernel in.
And the spirit turned unto the dust
“old fiend, thou knowest me”
And time went out to tell the News
And meet Eternity
(Emily Dickinson)
e pose in me il nocciolo.
Lo spirito si volse alla polvere
“Ti conosco, vecchia mia”

05:52
|
|||
As if I ask a common alms
And in my wondering hand
A Stranger pressed a Kingdom,
As if I ask the Orient
Had it for me a Morn –
And it should lift it’s purple Dikes
And shatter me with dawn
(Emily Dickinson)
“Come se chiedessi una comune elemosina
E nella mia mano stupita
Uno sconosciuto chiudesse un regno
E io restassi sconvolta -
Come se domandassi all’oriente
Se per me avesse un mattino –
Ed esso sollevasse le sue dighe purpuree
E mi sommergesse d’aurora!”
A word is dead
When it is said,
some say.
I say it just
Begins to live
That day.
(Emily Dickinson)
“Una parola muore appena detta, dice qualcuno.
Io dico che solo quel giorno comincia a vivere”
